November 2009 - EUGeneHeart Seminar series

The EUGeneHeart consortium has organised a EUGeneHeart Seminar series, focusing on professional training in basic cardiovascular research.

The Seminar takes place on Wednesday, 25 November, 2009 in the Hubrecht Institute, Utrecht, Netherlands. It includes three important topics in the field: (1) cardiovascular phenotyping, (2) gene expression and control mechanisms, and (3) protein signalling/signalosomes.

This seminar aims to foster professional training for young scientists (PhD students and postdoctoral scientists). The participation of female researchers is particularly encouraged.

The Seminar series is free of charge. To stimulate the participation of young scientists, the Consortium also covers the cost for lodging on 24 November, as well as snacks and drinks during the Seminar (travel expenses not covered). It is mandatory to register. The registration will close on September 25, 2009 and candidates will be accepted on a first come first serve basis.

Please find below the Seminar program. The application form to be sent back to Ms. Yi-Jen Chuang (see e-mail account below) is posted on the "read more" page below. You can also order it from Ms. Chuang as a Word file which allows for a direct electronic handling.

Please distribute this message to your students and colleagues. For more information, please contact Ms. Yi-Jen Chuang (yi-jen.chuang@uclouvain.be <mailto:yi-jen.chuang@uclouvain.be>).
